GUEST POST by Chris McCormickmoving checklist

Once a sale is firm, one of the ways we like to assist our clients is by sending them our handy ‘Moving Checklist.’  Essentially, this is a list of items that will need to be done between the time the house sells and the time you close the door for the last time on moving day.  We’ve set the form up in reverse chronological order, so that anything which may need to be done a month before moving would be first on the list.

Recently, we polled a group of our clients who had moved this year and asked them to tell us anything that we may have missed on our reminder list.  We have had this list for many years, and have edited it over time to keep it current.  Perhaps you need to have someone take down your aerial, or perhaps you need to arrange to switch over the rental records of your hot water tank to the new owner.  Maybe you belong to a CD club and you’ll need to change your address with them.  It’s items like these, plus a whole lot more, that you’ll find on our Moving Checklist.

Does that sound like something you would like to have?  If so, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to send you one.

At least you’ll have some impressive local trivia at the next cocktail party! Now, I just need a little info from you. (This information will never be shared – I promise!)
