Development:  Built by C. R. B. Ventures Limited (Rupert Bronsdon)from 1986 to 1988

Size:  situated on approximately 20 acres overlooking Georgian Bay  with 207 condominium units including one and two level walk-ups and a 10 storey condo tower .

Parking:  For ski condos, parking is outdoor and shared in common with other unit owners.  There is both underground, indoor and outdoor parking for the condo tower.

Public School District:  Admiral Collingwood P.S. and Collingwood Collegiate Institute

Municipal Services:  Units are fully serviced with municipal water and sewer.  Units were built with electric baseboard heating and gas is now available.  Many units have converted original wood burning fireplaces to natural gas.

Amenities: walking paths, a private marina, private Georgian Bay Shoreline, 6,000 square foot recreation centre with indoor pool, squash court, gym, social centre, and more, playground, tennis courts, swimming platform, events, on-site recreation centre staff

Condo Fees:  Average $300.00 to $500.00 per month which includes property maintenance, management, use of recreation centre, water and sewer charges

Taxes:  Average $2,100 to $3,100 per year

Walk Score:  10 (car or transit dependant)

General Comments:
I like Rupert’s Landing.  It’s a clean, well maintained development at an affordable price point offering a range of amenities and best of all, a waterside location.  Prices in recent years have come down due to competition from newer developments making this a good time to buy in Rupert’s Landing.  It’s quiet with mature landscaping and attractive designs that have stood the test of time.  Look for units that are recently upgraded and that feature gas fireplaces.
